Mushrooms, pumpkins, apples, colourful leaves, and tree-fruits make me grab for my sketchbook year after year. I’ve drawn this autumn garland with such pleasure. I took the modelling leaves and violets from our garden and the mushrooms are still standing in Utrecht’s local woodlands. Nowadays you aren’t allowed to pick mushrooms in local parks and woodlands; I gladly comply with these conservation measures. The bee was just buzzing in my mind, so I added it to the wreath to provide it with even more life. You like boletes? Bracket fungi and Fly agaric?
I apologize for the my red copyright name.
