Paula Kuitenbrouwer

Welcome to my blog. Here you find my portfolio, my art musings, and stories that go along with my work. Well, this is me….

Paula

and this is Thom, my husband and soul-mate. Thom takes care of website building, photography & printing.

My super short bio: I have studied Philosophy at the University of Utrecht and Amsterdam. From the artists Charito Crahay, Mark van Praagh, and Johan Kolman, I’ve learned drawing and painting. I remember fondly the hours I attended their workshops or worked at their ateliers. In Seoul I attended art class at the Hongik University. I’ve given art-workshops to elementary school and home educated children too.

Our daughter (11) has an art-blog too.

  1. Hi and thanks for visiting! As to my latest Illustration Friday, she just loves bows, that is, she’s obsessed with them; nothing deep!

I’ve enjoyed looking at your fine and sensitive drawings; a real sense of quiet.

  2. Your images and writing are a delight for the eyes, the heart and the soul Paula. I’m grateful for the kind words you posted on my photography blog (TheGreatAmericanLandscape.com) about the images being like poetry, I’m even more grateful for this opportunity to discover the beauty and diversity of your work, and look forward to returning often.

Feedback is much appreciated....
