For Wassily Kandinsky the colour red was alive, restless, confidently striving towards a goal, glowing, ‘manly maturity’. Light warm red was strength, energy, and joy. Vermilion was glowing passion and sure strength. Light cold red was youthful, pure joy, and young. Who doesn’t love red?
